Protection of the waters of the Dyje river basin

The project "Water Protection of the Dyje River Basin" addressed the construction and reconstruction of sewers and wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) in ten agglomerations of the South Moravian Region (3 actions) and the Vysočina Region (7 actions), which did not meet the requirements of the European Union directives.

The decision to finance individual projects was based on compliance with the framework strategic document - the ISPA National Strategy. These agglomerations were selected in the whole river basin (and the scope of the VKMO Ltd.).

Financial support was provided by the European Union, the State Environmental Fund and the individual water associations within the regions concerned.

The primary objective was to ensure that wastewater treatment and the quality of the discharged water met the standards contained in Regulation 91/271 "On urban wastewater treatment".

These were agglomerations:

  • Boskovice - WWTP and sewerage
  • Šlapanicko - sewerage
  • Náměšt' nad Oslavou - WWTP and sewerage
  • Jemnice - WWTP and sewerage
  • Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou - WWTP and sewerage
  • Trebic - sewerage
  • Moravské Budějovice - WWTP and sewerage
  • Bystřice nad Pernštejnem - WWTP and sewerage
  • Nové Město na Moravě - WWTP

UNIS ACTIVITIES

UNIS provided consultancy services for this project, ensuring of the construction manager supervision, planning, administrative activities and had experts in the field of I&C, electrical and mechanical technology of the WWTP.
