Financial dotation of agency TA ČR

From 1st January 2012 cooperates UNIS Company with VZLÚ, VUT and PBS, Velká Bíteš on the project: “Complex Affordable Aircraft Engine Electronic Control (CAAEEC)”. The result of the project shall be the design of reliable, fault tolerant control systems for safety critical applications with turbo-prop and turbo-shaft engines. The project is marked with No. TA02010259 and is solved with financial dotation of TA ČR, planned to 31st December 2015.

International investment forum in Sochi

The CEO of UNIS, Jiří Kovář, attended the 11th International Investment Forum “Sochi 2012”, which took place from 20th to 23rd September 2012, where he witnessed the signing of an agreement between Aslan Tkhakushinov, president of the Russian Federation’s Adygea region, and Abukar Bekov, CEO of Antey.
This agreement formalises an investment plan for the construction of a state of the art, low environmental impact petrochemical plant in Krasnodar. Antey’s planned investment amounts to 30 billion RUB.
Construction will be carried out in several phases, the end of first part is planned to 2016. When running at full capacity, the plant will provide up to 1,500 jobs and will generate annual tax revenue for the region of more than half a billion roubles. UNIS’s role in the project will be as designer and general contractor.

Japan Aerospace 2012

UNIS participated in the international Japan Aerospace 2012 in Nagoy, Japan, October 9th – 14th , 2012.
UNIS was presented its aviation products: Jet Engine Control Unit (JECU), Electrical Power Distributing Box (EPDB), Fuel Metering Pump Control system (FMPC), Multifunction Avionics Displays, an unique open distributed System of Aviation Modules (SAM). Confirmation of agreement in the Republic of Adygea, Russian Federation

A personal meeting was held between Aslan Tkhakushinov, chief representative of the Republic of Adygea, and Abukarov Bekov, managing director of JSC Antey. The meeting addressed details of the construction of an oil refinery for high-grade products in the Takhtamukaysky region of the Republic of Adygea, and resulted in an agreement on government investment in the project.
The meeting was also attended by the Prime Minister of RA, Murata Kumpilov, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of RA, Mahmud Tlekhas, the Managing Director of JCS Krasnodarekoneft, Valentin Danilec, and the Czech delegation with Jiri Kovar, Managing Director of UNIS, the designer and contractor for the plant.

Krasnodar’s "Krasnodarekoneft" is one of the best known oil refining plants in Russia, and recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. “Nowadays a new approach is required to the new environmental and legislative requirements in the field oil refining. Expansion and modernization of production enable higher oil reprocessing depth. It is estimated that the plant will produce 6 million tonnes of crude oil a year”, said Abukar Bekov.
The total planned investment in JSC ANTEY is in the order of one billion roubles. The plant will be equipped with modern technology causing minimal environmental impact. Construction is planned in several phases:

Atmospheric Distillation of crude oil, desulphurization of gasoline, kerosene and diesel (EURO 5), construction of plant infrastructure |

Vacuum distillation of atmospheric residue and visbreaking (maximization of VGO production) |

VGO hydrocracking (maximization of diesel production) |

Hydrocracking of vacuum residue, deasphaltization, gasification of residue (to achieve maximal reprocessing depth) |

Implementation of the first phase is expected in 2016, and completion of the remaining phases and the entire project in 2020. “When running at full capacity, the plant will provide up to 2,000 jobs and will generate annual tax revenue for the region of more than half a billion roubles” added Abukar Bekov.
